Born from love, built for sound
In 2010, Vitaliy Belonozhko, a Ukrainian immigrant who came to America at age 10, had a simple idea: build better in-ear monitors for his wife. He cannibalized a pair of universal IEMs, hand-molded custom shells, and discovered something that would change the trajectory of his life.
What started as a personal project under the name 1964 Ears quickly gained a reputation in the audio world. Musicians, engineers, and audiophiles discovered that these hand-crafted monitors delivered something different, a connection to music that mass-produced products simply couldn't replicate.
In 2015, the company rebranded to 64 Audio and introduced its first proprietary technology: apex (Air Pressure Exchange). For the first time, in-ear monitor wearers could listen for hours without the fatigue caused by sealed ear canals. It was the first of four innovations that would define the company.
Then came tia (Tubeless In-Ear Audio), eliminating the tiny tubes inside traditional IEMs that color and restrict sound. LID (Linear Impedance Design) ensured consistent sound regardless of your source. And 3D-Fit took custom molding to a new level of precision.
Today, 64 Audio monitors are trusted on the world's biggest stages, from Beyoncé's Super Bowl performance to Jay-Z's world tours, from John Mayer's guitar solos to the mixing boards of Grammy-winning studios. Yet the company remains what it has always been: a family-owned business of musicians and audio enthusiasts, handcrafting every monitor in the USA.
